How did you get into dancing?
I started dancing with my dad and brother at an early age, I just loved the family/friends gathering. I then started dance classes late around 16 with Hip Hop first then couple of years later, Cuban Salsa.
What projects are you currently working on?
We are currently working on a dance all dayer and party in London. We are also still looking for a venue for our weekly classes.
What’s been the most memorable moment of your journey as a dancer so far?
My most memorable moment as a dancer is the amazing stage experience. The preparation, rehearsals, costumes, stress and excitement, challenge… 4mins to give everything to yourself and to your audience.
What advice would you give to up & coming dancers looking at you for inspiration?
Be yourself! Show your personality when you dance. Don’t try to copy and paste what others are doing. We all have this je ne sais quoi! You’ll find it attending classes, practicing and dancing with different people. Come out of your comfort zone and have fun 🙂
What can we expect from you for the rest of 2018?
More dancing and maybe another trip abroad with our students.
